A rose by any other name

We are up and running at the "Carter School". It's been an easy week for them, since I am finishing up teaching my summer classes at Delightful Sounds this week. When we first started planning, I laughed at some of the things the girls would ask. "Will we have to raise our hands to ask you a question?" "Do we have assigned seats?" I guess being in a traditional school setting for so long, some things are just ingrained in them. The latest is their fascination at not having to write their names on their papers. It's actually become a game to see who can come up with the strangest name to write for the day. Today I taught Goober Toot and Su Su. Should be an interesting school year! LOL
