Some people believe music is just that-music, a form of entertainment, but I believe that music is so much more than that. It evokes emotion, speaks a message even when we least expect it. Sarah accepted Christ earlier this year, and it was as a result of one song. Her dad and I had talked to her several times, but it was four little words in a Toby Mac song that brought her to me one morning saying I need to get saved NOW. What were the words? "It's ride or die" -a simple message.
The Bible says that all of our good deeds are like filthy rags to God. No matter how good you think you are, no one is good enough. However, God sent his Son, Jesus, to pay for all of our sins by dying on the cross for us. He paved the way for us to be "good enough" simply by believing that Jesus is the Son of God, recognizing that none of us are good enough on our own, and asking God to forgive you and give you this gift of salvation.
