Another recent field trip we have attended was to the Busch Gardens Zoo School for home schools. It was an all day field trip with interactive animal sessions and a guided walking tour. (Rides were not included in the cost, much to my childrens disappointment.) The picture is of one of the tigers we encountered on the walking tour. The focus was on animal adaptations, and it was neat to see all of the thoughts and ideas that the kids came up with. This is the first year that Busch Gardens has offered a home school class of any sort, and I'm excited to see what they will offer next school year!
