Things have been so busy around here since the holidays. We've had about 7-8 sets of twin goats born in the last couple of months. One set was just born this morning. It's a great time of year, as everyone enjoys getting to play with the new little ones. Unfortunately, we have also had a hard time with coyotes and cold weather. We've lost several babies as a result. So in hopes of improving our coyote defenses we've added to the arsenal.........
Little Man.
Donkeys like to be with other livestock and will be naturally denfensive of the goats, kicking and biting at anything that threatens them. We've been wanting a donkey for some time now. It's been so funny to watch him bray at everything. He's quite nosey too. The goats are still not real sure about him, but I'm sure it won't be long and the farm will once again get back to normal.
